After a thorough selection procedure, the Board of Directors of Blue Cluster has appointed Piet Opstaele as our new CEO. He will officially start in his new position on 1 June 2023.

Allahyar Valiyev, also known as Alik, is currently engaged in his thesis research at Blue Cluster as a final part of his Master's degree. Alik's research focuses on the sustainable blue economy and marine spatial planning.
